At the end of each year, Family Search compiles your contributions to your personal Family Tree. It's a way of measuring for yourself the work you have done for your ancestors.
I first started measuring my contributions in 2023. At the end of 2023 these were my Stats:
- Total contributions to Family Tree: 238
- New people added to your Family Tree: 9
- New memories added to your Family Tree: 110
- New Sources added to your Family Tree: 119
For having just started out in real earnest that year, these were nice numbers, but numbers like these would not be acceptable for future years. I had to grow those numbers for each consecutive year.
So then, at the end of 2024 I was anxious to see what my numbers would be.
Overall, I had 501 Contributions to my Family Tree in 2024.
This is more than double what I did the previous year.
I was very excited. Hopefully each year from now I can grow on that number.
Here are my stats:
- New people added to my Family Tree: 73
- New Memories added to my Family Tree: 57
- New Sources added to my Family Tree: 371
